Sylvianne Blum
Sylvianne Blum is an artist specializing in realist painting, executed using the dry pastel technique. Her work has been recognized in major international competitions, where several of her portraits were finalists or selected. Among them, Madre tarahumara stands out, a piece exhibited at the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) in Barcelona as part of the prestigious ModPortrait competition. Likewise, her work El charro received an Honorable Mention at The Target Prize.
She has presented her paintings in artistic venues in New York, Barcelona, Zaragoza, and Mexico City, and has participated in several online exhibitions. In addition, several of her portraits have been published in renowned art catalogs, consolidating her career as a creator whose realism conveys depth, emotion, and a unique perspective on the human condition.
The authorities of the city of Cortona, Italy, awarded me the title of “Ambasciatore dell’Arte” (Art Ambassador).
