The Story of
Mercedes Alvarez
Mercedes Alvarez (Argentina, 1980) is a visual artist and illustrator based in Buenos Aires. With a background in advertising and over a decade of experience in digital drawing and fine art printing, she founded Punto Eme, a project that merges drawing, symbolism and everyday emotion.
Her work explores the intersection between feminine identity, nature, inner landscapes and symbolic language. From solitary women immersed in silence to colorful compositions where emotion takes form through minimal lines and bold shapes, her art invites viewers into a world where tenderness and power coexist.
She works closely with Masterprinter to produce fine art prints on museum-quality papers, in small, carefully supervised runs.
Mercedes Alvarez continues to develop a distinctive voice that expands across borders —a space where drawing becomes a visual diary of the invisible.
