The Story of

My name is Tomás Popritkin and I was born in the Argentinian Patagonia, in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. I am 27 years old and have been taking pictures for over 10 years. Throughout my career, I have explored the different branches of photography trying to understand what each of them meant to me and how I could benefit from them. After a while, I understood that one of the key points of this art is to capture what makes you happy, what fills your heart and inspires you as a person, because we are people first, and then,photographers. Ever since, my career shifted markedly and my job became a lifestyle, leaving my work routine behind. Nowadays, besides capturing landscape pictures, which are my main source of inspiration, I do advertising and architecture photography. On top of that, I take foreigners on photo tours and give photography and editing workshops for those wanting to learn to control their cameras as a tool to demonstrate their feelings and intentions through their images.
